Well it was another wet weekend so I set up another website!
Unfortunately in the process this page ended up being a weather site, my apologies to all those who checked in and found a rain radar image and a description of the weather here.
And for those of you who have returned here wanting to know what the weather is like here, what it will be like in the next week or so, and what it has been like in the recent past - you want to go here
My Ghost Train has been gathering dust for a couple of years so I have decided to see if anyone out there can put it to it’s rightful use.
For those that don’t know it is a Mini40 class Ghost Train designed by Andy McCullough. Hulls and Floats all carbon fibre construction by Milton Bloomfield, Beams are foam/carbon made by me.
The boat comes with 4 complete rigs plus a bare rig (no sails, ‘D’ rig), no electrics come with the boat.
All reasonable offers considered - be warned - as this boat is not able to be dismantled overseas postage WILL be (very) expensive unless I cut the beams!
This is going to be held in Kerikeri, we are looking at a late summer, 3 day, contest. The dates are Saturday March 15 to Monday March 17.
At this stage the accommodation places in town do not have many bookings, and as far as we can ascertain there are no other major happenings in the area that weekend.
